FAQs

Are the classes suitable for beginners?
Yes! Classes are suitable for all levels - from complete beginners to more advanced participants. Everyone was once a beginner, so you’ll be in good company.

How do you cater for different ability levels in one class?
I teach in levels, showing a gentle or easier option for each move, as well as two or three variations to make it more challenging. That way, you can work at the level that feels right for you.

Can I join if I have an injury or movement issue?
Absolutely. I can adapt exercises to suit specific injuries or mobility challenges, so you can still take part safely and comfortably.

Is Pilates suitable for all ages and fitness levels?
Yes - Pilates is a low-impact form of exercise that’s suitable for everyone, regardless of age or current fitness level. It’s also ideal if you’re returning to exercise after a break.

I feel nervous about joining. What can I expect at my first class?
It’s totally normal to feel a bit anxious when trying something new. The classes are friendly and welcoming, and everyone starts where you are now. I’ll make sure to greet you when you arrive, show you around, and help you settle in.
